General description:
Crimcheck offers a $500 annual scholarship to a student pursuing post-secondary education in the field of criminal justice.
The scholarship was established in 2014 to recognize outstanding academic achievement and commitment to making a positive impact in the world.
Eligibility:
- Current post-secondary education students or recent high school graduates who plan to study criminal justice are welcome to apply.
- The required minimum cumulative GPA is 3.0.
- Applicants must be enrolled as a full- or part-time student for the current academic year.
What we are looking for:
Crimcheck will review articles based on the following criteria:
Ambition and Desire: Applicants must demonstrate a strong passion and desire to be a part of the criminal justice field.
Knowledge and Commitment: Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the field of criminal justice and a dedicated commitment to pursuing a career in it.

To be provided for the scholarship, applicants or request must submit the following:
Personal Information: Name, email and telephone number.
Transcript: Evidence of enrollment in post-secondary education.
Essay (1-2 pages): The essay should include the following points:

B Reason for choosing field: Explain why you chose a career in the field of criminal justice.
C. Long-Term Goals: Describe your long-term career aspirations and how this scholarship will help you achieve them.
