Orange Knowledge Scholarship overview

The Orange Knowledge Program is a funded scholarship program supported and provided by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, in 2023 Sudan and Uganda will be excluded from the scholarship application round.

This program mainly focuses on study and educational programs related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, security and the rule of law. Preference will be given to applications in these areas, but applications in other areas are also welcome. It is important to ensure that the course you choose is consistent with your country’s country focus document.

Orange Knowledge Scholarship deadline

The OKP scholarship can be applied for from 28th July until 16:00 CET on 5th September. However, to apply for this scholarship, you must contact the Dutch institution directly. Please note that applications cannot be made through the website.

Selection process of Orange Knowledge Scholarship

  • Candidates register with an educational institution in the Netherlands. Institutions select and submit funding applications.
  • The Embassy will inspect the application to determine if the application is legitimate.
  • Dutch educational institutions receive the selection results.
  • Scholarships are awarded by selected educational institutions in the Netherlands.
  • You will be notified of the results of your application within 3-4 months.
  • You will be contacted by the Dutch educational institution you used to apply for the outcome of your application.
